With warmer weather and longer
days arriving, flowers bloom, new leaves grow on trees, and insects,
including mosquitoes become active. This is a great time to remember
that any water standing more then four or five days can become a breeding
site for mosquitoes. Homeowners can help reduce mosquitoes in their
area by checking around the yard and emptying cans and any water holding
containers, cleaning rain gutters so they drain properly, maintaining
pools and changing bird baths regularly. For further info on mosquitoes
