OFFICE OF HIGHWAY SAFETY

The Atlantic County Office of Highway Safety works with municipal law enforcement agencies, schools and public service organizations to develop highway safety educational programs and coordinates the application for state grants that promote both driver and pedestrian awareness. Additionally, the Office of Highway Safety compiles motor vehicle crash statistics for Atlantic County.

The safety educational programs, for citizens and law enforcement trainers, consist of:

• Operation Thanksgiving
• Hero Campaign / Safe Ride Home Program
• Click It Or Ticket Program
• 101 Critical Days of Summer Campaign
