CRIME SCENE TECHNICIAN'S COURSE

At the conclusion of this five day program, the student will have an understanding of crime scene preservation and the role of forensic science in law enforcement. Additionally, the student will become adept at learning the concepts and procedures of crime scene photography. Topics to be covered are as follows:

• Crime Scene Photography
• Source and Relevance of Serological Fluids
• Source and Relevance of Trace Evidence
• Glass Fractures
• Latent Fingerprinting
• Cyanoacrolate Ester Fuming Method (Super Glue)
• Casting Techniques
• Crime Scene Sketching

Class size is limited to twenty students and space is reserved on a first come basis.
