BASIC COURSE FOR POLICE OFFICERS
A Police Training Commission approved Basic Course for Police Officers.
Orientation Day is Tuesday May 26, 2009 follwed by Agency Training. First day of Classes starts on Monday June 1, 2009.
Departments can call to have Recruit Packets to be sent to their agencies. Please have packets returned by May 19, 2009.
The Academy now offers the Alternate Route Program associated with the Basic Course for Police Officers. Contact the Training Center @ 609-407-6724 for further information.
Up to 16 college credits are available from Atlantic Cape Community College.
The Alternate Route written test will be given on Jan. 21, 2008 at the Canale Training Center. Applications & Study guides are availible to the first 100 applicants only and must be completed and returned at the time of the test. A money order for $50.00 made out to "Treasure, County of Atlantic" is required when the application packet is picked up.
