COLLISION INVESTIGATION I

This is the basic or at-scene course that teaches students the proper techniques for recognizing and properly recording vehicle collision results on roadways and gathering critical evidence that may be used to reconstruct a crash at a later date. The police officer will learn information from and about people / vehicles / roads, how to measure collision scenes, make field sketches, draw after crash diagrams to scale, make simple speed estimates, and systematically photograph vehicles and crash scenes.
