Nutrition Project

The Nutrition Project for the Elderly offers two components:

SENIOR CENTERS CONGREGATE PROGRAMS

Senior citizens sixty (60) years of age and older are invited to attend one of the nine centers located throughout the County. The centers offer a variety of activities including crafts, line dancing, computer classes, self defense courses and bingo. A lunch time meal is served daily. There is no charge to participate however, a $1.00 donation is requested to enhance the program. The centers are open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and occasionally in the evening for special activities and events. One center in Atlantic City is open on the weekends. Transportation to the centers can be arranged by calling one of the following centers:

HOME DELIVERED MEALS

Home-delivered meals are available for frail individuals sixty years of age or older who are unable to leave the confines of home and cannot prepare their own meals.
