Online Needs Assessment Survey
As part of its Older Americans Month activities, the Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services is currently conducting a Needs Assessment Survey to help plan for future programs and services. Every three years the Division surveys its customers and participating partners to gauge the effectiveness of existing programs and identify additional areas of need. Caretakers and family members are also encouraged to participate in the survey which is available at www.aclink.org through mid-June.
Division Director Marilu Gagnon is being recognized for her leadership and commitment to meeting the needs of elderly residents during Older Americans Month with the 2012 Sadie Nauy Senior Adult Leadership Award presented by the Milton and Betty Katz JCC. The award is named in honor of Nauy, a community philanthropist, who lived to the age of 100. Nauy generously supported many organizations and programs for senior adults.
The Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services invites the public to visit any of the county's nine senior centers and to participate in one of the special activities provided this month. The senior centers are open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM, and provide daily activities as well as a complimentary lunch time meal. Seniors age 60 and older are asked to make reservations for lunch at least two days in advance of attendance by calling the location of their choice.
