Meals on Wheels Donation
The Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services will receive a donation of $2,850 for its Meals on Wheels program from the proceeds of the third annual Samaritan Cup Golf Tournament that was held on May 15 at the Mays Landing Golf & Country Club. The tournament was sponsored by the Mays Landing Rotary and Lincoln Mortgage Company of Galloway Township to raise funds to support senior outreach programs and provide nourishment to residents in need.
The donation will be presented on Friday, June 26 at 12 noon at the county's Shoreview Building, 101 S. Shore Road, Northfield.
The Atlantic County Meals on Wheels program provides home-delivered meals to residents 60 years or older who are unable to leave the confines of home and/or prepare their own meals.
