The Division of Intergenerational Services addresses the needs of youth, families, disabled and senior citizens. Trained staff are available to provide such services as information and referral, outreach, case management and juvenile/family crisis intervention to eligible individuals. Intergenerational issues are being developed between county government and local school districts to enhance Intergenerational relationships in the community to benefit the youth and senior populations. The Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services has established a toll free number for information and assistance services for all age groups (dial 2-1-1). Knowledgeable staff are available 24 hours per day to provide information for programs such as adult day care, transportation, home-delivered meals, juvenile and family services, dental care and caregiver support programs.
