Collection: Books, reports, periodicals, photographs, postcards, oral histories, scrapbooks and memorabilia from Atlantic City. Resources include both published and unpublished material. Microfilm materials include “The Press of Atlantic City” from 1895 to the present, city directories from 1872-1982 (not complete), census records for Atlantic County, and maps of Atlantic City and Absecon Island. Other collection strengths include Miss America Pageant yearbooks and photographs, Atlantic City High School yearbooks, casinos and gaming information, and tourism in Atlantic City. Subject guides and indexes are available for the photograph, postcard, and African American collections. Vertical files on Atlantic City-related topics. Some Jerseyana and genealogy materials are located in the main library
