Grants Available to Aid Non-Profit Arts and History Organizations

The Atlantic County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs has announced that applications are now available for the 2010 Atlantic County/NJ State Arts Council Grant and the 2010 Atlantic County/NJ Historical Commission Grant. Both grant programs are for non-profit arts or history organizations based in Atlantic County. The application deadline for both grants is 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2009.

The grant applications and guidelines are available on the Atlantic County Web site at:www.aclink.org/culturalaffairs. The application is available in PDF format so that it can be completed online and printed out for signatures.

A workshop for the arts grant will be held on Wednesday, August 26 at 10:30 AM and repeated at 6:30 PM. A workshop for the history grant will be held on Thursday, August 27 at 10:00 AM and repeated at 6:30 PM. An additional combined arts and history workshop will be offered on Monday, August 31 at 6:30 PM. All workshops will be held at the Atlantic County Library/Mays Landing, 40 Farragut Avenue, Mays Landing.
