Levinson Encourages Residents to Serve on Advisory Boards
Interested in advising the Atlantic County Executive on the arts, economic development, agriculture or veterans services? Or perhaps you are willing to share your expertise on issues of highway safety, criminal justice or services for seniors and the disabled. If so, Atlantic County government offers you an opportunity to volunteer your time and talents as a member of one of 31 advisory boards, councils and commissions.
Atlantic County residents who are interested in serving are encouraged to visit the Atlantic County Website at www.aclink.org/Boards/ to view a comprehensive list of advisory boards, councils and commissions. The Web site includes a brief description of each board, its current members, length of terms, and current vacancies. Interested candidates may apply to serve by submitting a cover letter and resume online or by mail to Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson, 1333 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
"Atlantic County is fortunate to benefit from the knowledge and skills of our advisory board members," stated Levinson. "Their input is invaluable. I encourage residents to contribute to their communities by serving on one of our boards."
