Friday, April 18, 2008 Arbor Day Program - April 25Atlantic County will honor Brigantine resident Michael Sciullo at the annual Arbor Day program to be held on Friday, April 25 at 3 PM at Haneman Park, 15 Street South, Brigantine. On the last Friday of each April, the county plants a tree to commemorate Arbor Day at which time it recognizes an outstanding citizen for their contribution to our community. Sciullo is a WWII veteran and the former owner and operator of Atlantic Photo Center in Atlantic City. He currently serves as the chairperson of the Atlantic County Veterans Advisory Board and the Disabled Citizens Advisory Board. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Atlantic County Library/Brigantine located on 15th Street South across from the park. |
