Levinson Appoints Paul Giunta to Veterans Advisory Board

Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson has announced the appointment of Paul L. Giunta of Smithville to the Atlantic County Veterans Advisory Board. The board consists of members who work to ensure that county government remains responsive to the needs of veterans.

Giunta served in the US Army in Vietnam and is a member of the VFW and the American Legion. In addition, he is the vice president of Rolling Thunder, Inc., a veterans support group that raises funds for Vets Haven, the Old Soldiers Home in Vineland and the Pomona Family Assistance Center.

Giunta is now retired after more than 40 years in the retail hardware business as the president of Shore True Value in Somers Point. He is a past president of the Somers Point Business Association and the Somers Point Jaycees as well as a former vice president of the Somers Point School Board.

"I could not ask for anyone more dedicated to serving the interests of our veterans as Paul Giunta. I look forward to working with him and his fellow board members to make sure that our veterans are never forgotten," stated Levinson.
