Aerial Request Appointment Calendar

Atlantic County Office of GIS (ACOGIS) has aerials available to the general public for review and for copy, for the years: 1977, 1983, 1995 and 2000. Our collections cover the entire county of Atlantic. The aerials are on film and the copies are blue print copies. These copies cost $6 each payable by check or money order only. If you are going to need copies please remember a check made payable to the Atlantic County Treasurer.

AERIAL APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING PROCEDURE

Step 1 – Please fill out the form with all required information.

Step 2 – Wait for confirmation via E-Mail or Phone for the appointment day and time. It will usually take 1 business day for appointment confirmation.

Step 3 – If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please notify ACOGIS via email and/ or phone as soon as possible at gis_aerials@aclink.org or (609) 645-5898.

Step 4 – Come to the GIS office for your scheduled appointment. Our office is at Route 9 & Dolphin Ave, Northfield, click here to view a map of our location. Please arrive on time for your appointment as you will not be permitted to view aerials except at your scheduled appointment time.

1. What years do you have available?

1977, 1983, 1995, 2000

2. Do you have anything older than that?

No, please contact the Tidelands at the NJDEP for more historical aerials.

3. Do you have any aerials more recent than 2000?

The state has digital version of aerials for the entire state available for download in .SID format from their website.

4. What areas do you cover?

Our aerials cover the entire area of Atlantic County

5. Can I get copies?

Yes, copies are blue print copies and they cost $6 payable by check or money order made out to the Atlantic County Treasurer.

6. If I don’t need a copy, may I take a digital picture of the aerial?

Yes, you can take a digital picture of the aerial at no charge; however, Atlantic County Government is not responsible for any degradation of scale or quality of the picture.

7. Do you have wetlands information?

For planning purposes only there is wetlands data freely available for viewing or for download from our Internet Mapping Site (IMS)

9. Do you provide custom aerial maps of certain areas?

Custom maps can be provided but require an appointment with a staff member to narrow down the parameters of the map. These custom maps take time, generally 5 to 10 business days, depending on the staff workload. Also, they have a scaled cost depending on the types of data required and the size of the maps. Costs will be discussed in the initial appointment with a staff member. These fees are also only payable by check or money order made out the Atlantic County treasurer.
