| Biography:
Elected Freeholder-at-Large in November 2005 and re-elected in 2008. Born and raised in Atlantic City, Alisa is a graduate of Atlantic City High School and graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. Miss Cooper is the owner of "Alisa Cooper Orchestras", a music and entertainment agency and has appeared and performed in all of the Atlantic City casinos. In 2008, she was appointed as a council member to the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, providing her an oppportunity to promote music and all of the arts throughout New Jersey. Alisa is also a music educator in the Egg Harbor Township School District and longtime member of the New Jersey Education Association (N.J.E.A.) She serves on the Board of Director's of Robin's Nest, Inc. and holds membership in numerous charitable, professional, civic and religious organizations. Throughout her career as an entertainer and educator, she has been the recipient of numerous awards for her charitable activities as she has generously volunteered her time, her energy and talents for many causes and organizations throughout South Jersey. She resides in Linwood, with her husband Doug Little, and their son, David Cooper Little. |
