CALL TO ORDER The Reorganization Meeting of the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders was called to order by Clerk to the Board, Sonya G. Harris, at 4 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the above date at the Atlantic County Office Building Auditorium, Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Ms. Harris announced that notice of this meeting had been given to the Press, the Mainland Journal and also had been posted on the bulletin boards in the County Offices, 1333 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City; the Stillwater Building, Northfield; and in the County Clerk's office in Mays Landing, New Jersey.

PRAYER &
FLAG SALUTE
CERTIFICATES OF ELECTION
The prayer and flag salute was led by Minister James Gillespie.
Sonya G. Harris, Clerk of the Board, announced "I am in receipt of Certificates of Election from the County Board of Canvasser, certifying the election of Richard R. Dase, Charles T. Garrett and Joseph McDevitt."

OATHS OF OFFICE The honorable Judge Michael Donio administered the Oath of Office to Freeholder-elect Joseph J. McDevitt, Freeholder-elect Richard R. Dase and County Executive Dennis Levinson.
The honorable Judge Bruce Weekes administered the Oath of Office to Freeholder-elect Charles T. Garrett.

ROLL CALL The following roll call was recorded: PRESENT: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, McDevitt, Russo, Silipena and Sutton.

RESOLUTION #1
CHAIRMAN
Freeholder Sutton moved and Freeholder Russo seconded a motion to appoint Joseph F. Silipena as Chairman of the 2008 Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders to serve from January 2, 2008 to December 31, 2008.
The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, McDevitt, Russo, Silipena and Sutton.

RESOLUTION #2
VICE-CHAIRMAN
Freeholder Dase moved and Freeholder Curcio seconded a motion to appoint Frank Sutton as Vice-Chairman of the 2008 Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders to serve from January 2, 2008 to December 31, 2008.
The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, McDevitt, Russo, Sutton and Silipena.

RESOLUTION #3 NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETINGS - 2008 Freeholder Giordano moved and Freeholder Garrett seconded a motion informing the newspapers of regular meetings of the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, McDevitt, Russo, Sutton and Silipena.

RESOLUTION #4
NJAC
REPRESENTATIVE
Freeholder Russo moved and Freeholder Sutton seconded a motion appointing Freeholder James Curcio as the 2008 Atlantic County Freeholder representative to the New Jersey Association of Counties.
The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, McDevitt, Russo, Sutton and Silipena.

RESOLUTION #5
NJAC FIRSTALTERNATE
Freeholder Giordano moved and Freeholder Dase seconded a motion appointing Freeholder Thomas Russo as First Alternate Atlantic County Freeholder representative to the New Jersey Association of Counties.
The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, McDevitt, Russo, Sutton and Silipena.

RESOLUTION #6
NJAC SECOND ALTERNATE
Freeholder Giordano moved and Freeholder Curcio seconded a motion appointing Freeholder Dase as Second Alternate Atlantic County Freeholder representative to the New Jersey Association of Counties.
The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, McDevitt, Russo, Sutton and Silipena.

RESOLUTION #7
2008 TEMPORARY BUDGET
Freeholder Curcio moved and Freeholder Sutton seconded a motion adopting the 2008 temporary budget.

RESOLUTION #8
DEPOSITORIES
Freeholder Giordano moved and Freeholder Sutton seconded a motion authorizing depositories for the County - 2008

RESOLUTION #9
2008 PETTY CASH
Freeholder Sutton moved and Freeholder Cooper seconded a motion establishing petty cash funds for various departments and divisions of Atlantic County - 2008.
The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, McDevitt, Russo, Sutton and Silipena.

RESOLUTION #10
REAPPOINMENT OF DENNIS M. TUOHY
Freeholder Russo moved and Freeholder Sutton seconded a motion to reappoint Dennis M. Tuohy as Legislative Counsel to the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooper, Curcio, Dase, Garrett, Giordano, Russo, Sutton and Silipena. NAYS: McDevitt.

CLOSING COMMENTS Mr. Dase, Mr. Garrett and Mr. McDevitt thanked everyone for their support during the election and attendance at the swearing-in.

CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE The Chairman's message was read by the Clerk.

BENEDICTION Minister James Gillespie gave the benediction.

ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, it was moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 4:45 p.m.
