Inmate Therapeutic Community Graduation - February 21

The Atlantic County Department of Public Safety will hold a graduation ceremony on Thursday, February 21 at 12:30 PM for 12 inmates at the Atlantic County Justice Facility who have successfully completed a 60-day comprehensive therapeutic substance abuse treatment program in coordination with the county's Discharge Planning Initiative.

In 2011 the Justice Facility received an $11,000 state grant to provide a modified therapeutic community program for incarcerated men with substance dependency disorders. Participants receive professional counseling and treatment. To date, approximately 100 individuals have graduated from the program.
