Residential Debris Disposal Sites to Continue
Atlantic County's two residential debris disposal sites will be open 8 AM to 8 PM daily until further notice where residents (with proof of residency) can bring tree debris from the June 30 storm as they begin the clean up process. The sites were open this weekend 9 AM to 5 PM.
The locations will remain the same: Riverbend Park, Rt. 559 between Betsy Scull Road and Green Tree Golf Course, and Estell Manor Park, north entrance off Rt. 50, Mays Landing. Both sites are secured by Sheriff's officers. Illegal dumping will be prosecuted.
FEMA representatives continue to assess damages, the first step in the process of a federal disaster declaration. If a federal disaster is declared, residents and businesses will be advised as to how to proceed to seek assistance. In the meantime, residents should continue to report damages to their local office of emergency management or online at: www.aclink.org or www.ReadyAtlantic.org.
All Atlantic County government offices will open on Monday, July 9 on schedule as most power has been restored throughout the county.
