Under direction, cares for, feeds and grooms dogs, cats, and other animals; does related work as required.
 
Requirements:     Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
 

Title:     COUNSELOR ADOLESCENT UNIT NJDOP Test Required:      YES

Definition:   

Position available in twenty-four(24)hour residential facility for at-risk youth. Variable overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.

Under direction assists with therapeutic programs for socially, mentally, and/or physically maladjusted adolescents by counseling and helping them to deal effectively with their problems, and may assist in a remedial teaching program or tutor students; does related work as required.

 
Requirements:     EDUCATION- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Education, or related field.
LICENSE- Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
 

Title:     INSTITUTIONAL ATTENDANT (CERTIFIED) NJDOP Test Required:      NO

Definition:   
Under direction, in a hospital, training school, sanitarium or other institution, performs the non-professional nursing duties involved in the care and custody of patients and/or inmates; does related work as required.
 
Requirements:     Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position. Some knowledge of the problems of children and adults who are confined to a hospital or other institution, of the particular problems likely to be encountered in work in hospitals and other institutions, of medical and hospital routines, methods and procedures, of the problems invovled in working with and in supervising the work of patients and/or inmates according to prescribed procedures.

Under close supervision, performs routine nursing activities for the care and treatment of patients in accordance with a nursing care plan.
 
Requirements:     LICENSE:
Possession of a valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New Jersey. Persons who possess the registration by waiver must have satisfactorily completed an approved refresher program.
